The Safe Zone Project The Safe Zone Project (SZP) is a free online resource providing curricula, activities, and other resources for educators facilitating Safe Zone trainings (sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ education sessions), and learners who are hoping to explore these concepts on their own. Co-created by Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann in 2013, the SZP has become the go-to resource for anyone looking to add some Safe Zone to their life.

GALE: The Global Alliance for LGBT Education GALE is a learning community focusing on education about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues. We promote the full inclusion of people who are disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and their expression by identifying, enhancing, and sharing educational expertise. The membership of the community is free and open to anyone actively involved in education about LGBT issues.
GLAAD Media Reference Guide GLAAD’s Media Reference Guide, now in its 11th edition, offers education and guidance on telling LGBTQ people’s stories in ways that bring out the best in journalism. This Guide is intended to be used by journalists reporting for mainstream media outlets and media creators who want to tell the stories of LGBTQ people fairly and accurately. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive glossary of language used within the LGBTQ community, nor is it a prescriptive guide for LGBTQ people. There is no one way to be LGBTQ, nor is there one way to describe LGBTQ people. In fact, you will see one practice recommended throughout the Guide: Ask people how they describe themselves, ask people their pronouns, and identify them in your coverage as such.

International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) is a leading international organization dedicated to human rights advocacy on behalf of people who experience discrimination or abuse on the basis of their actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
International Lesbian, Gay Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex Association ILGA is a worldwide federation of 1100 member organizations from 110 countries campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex rights since 1978.
Rainbow Railroad Rainbow Railroad helps LGBT people escape state-sponsored violence. They provide info to LGBT people on routes to safety and resources on seeking asylum. They also provide moral support and, when funds permit, short-term financial support to LGBT people living in hiding before travel. They provide the means for travel to safe countries in North America and Europe then connect them with settlement agencies once there.
