PRIDE Youth Night
The PRIDE Youth Night is intended to be a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 12-17. We expect everyone to be kind, inclusive, and positive in words and actions with each other. By signing up to attend, you agree to help create welcoming and affirming spaces for all who join this group. The PRIDE Youth group meets monthly on the 2nd Friday of each month. If you’d like to come in through another way other than the front entrance, please email contact@sandhillspride.org. ALL INDIVIDUALS MUST REGISTER BELOW TO ATTEND.
PRIDE Parents
PRIDE Parents Discussion Group is a once-monthly discussion group open to parents of LGBTQ+ youth. PRIDE Parents Discussion group is held at the same place as the Youth Nights. The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Parents’ Discussion Group is to connect our community of parents of LGBTQ+ youth in order to share experiences, questions, concerns, and support with each other. Trans & Nonbinary
PRIDE Trans & Nonbinary Group is a once-monthly meet-up and discussion group open to anyone identifying as Trans, Nonbinary or Gender Nonconforming. This group meets via Zoom on the 4th Tuesday of the month. The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Trans & Nonbinary Group is to connect our Trans, Nonbinary and Gender Nonconforming community in order to share experiences, questions, concerns, and support with each other. For the safety of all in this group, sign-up is required to join. Zoom link invitation will be sent to the email you provide. Sandhills PRIDE respects your privacy, and your information is held in strict confidence and never shared.
PRIDE Men’s Group
The PRIDE Men’s group is a social meet-up and discussion group that gets together for events and activities throughout the year. The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Men’s Group is to provide a safe space for all men and masculine-aligned people in our community. Gay, trans, or masculine-presenting, this is the space for you to find like-minded individuals with whom to forge bonds of friendship and support. PRIDE Women’s Group
The PRIDE Women’s group is a social meet-up and discussion group that gets together for events and activities throughout the year. The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Women’s Group is to provide a safe atmosphere for women, feminine-presenting, non-binary and like-minded individuals to freely express their own identity while creating bonds, friendship, and support through social engagements, activities, discussions, outings, games, leisure sports & more. O.W.L.S
The goal of Sandhills PRIDE Older Wiser Lesbians, aka O.W.LS, group is for all women 55 plus, solos, couples, and partners/ wives to laugh loud, connect deeply, and celebrate who we are in all our seasoned glory. The Sandhills PRIDE O.W.LS are a welcoming circle for forging friendships, sharing stories, and diving into the kind of fun that never goes out of style. From playing games to real-talk on aging and thriving, we’re creating a space that’s vibrant, supportive, and full of life.
