LGBTQ+ Women’s Group
The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Women’s Group is to provide a safe atmosphere for women, feminine-presenting, non-binary, and like-minded individuals to freely express their own identity while creating bonds, friendship, and support through social engagements, activities, discussions, outings, games, leisure sports & more. The group meets the last Saturday of the month.
PRIDE Youth Night
PRIDE Youth Night is a safe space meet up for friends and allies in grades 7 thru 12. Join us at the Baxter Teen Center at the Boys & Girls Club, 160 Memorial Drive in Southern Pines for an evening of games, hanging out, and fun with friends in a safe space! Temperature check and masks are no longer required though masks may be worn for individual comfort/need. If you’d like to come in through another way other than the front entrance, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. ALL INDIVIDUALS MUST REGISTER BELOW TO ATTEND.
LGBTQ+ Men’s Group
This group is currently on hiatus until it has new Facilitators
The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Men’s Group is to provide a safe space for all men and masculine-aligned people in our community. gay, trans, or masculine-presenting, this is the space for you to find like-minded individuals with whom to forge bonds of friendship and support. Our group connects through activities, discussions, outings, and more. This group is scheduled to meet the second Saturday of the month when we resume (times may change, depending on activity).
Trans & Nonbinary
Returning in May!
The PRIDE Trans & Nonbinary Group is a once-monthly meet-up and discussion group open to anyone identifying as Trans, Nonbinary or Gender Nonconforming. This group meets via Zoom. The goal of the group is to connect our Trans, Nonbinary and Gender Nonconforming community in order to share experiences, questions, concerns, and support with each other. Dates and times to be announced.
For the safety of all in this group, sign-up is required to join. Zoom link invitation will be sent to the email you provide. Sandhills PRIDE respects your privacy, and your information is held in strict confidence and never shared. Sign-up form link will be available when dates are set.
PRIDE Parents Discussion Group is a once-monthly discussion group open to parents of LGBTQ+ youth. The goal of the Sandhills PRIDE Parents’ Discussion Group is to connect our community of parents of LGBTQ+ youth in order to share experiences, questions, concerns, and support with each other.
